About FormDoctor

Why we exist

FormDoctor exists because website contact forms fail silently — and almost nobody notices until it's too late.

A plugin updates. An SMTP setting changes. A hosting provider tweaks its email limits. Your form still looks fine on the page. Visitors still fill it in. They still hit submit and see the "thanks, we'll be in touch" message. But the email never arrives in your inbox. The lead is gone, and you've no idea it ever existed.

We built FormDoctor after watching this pattern play out again and again — agencies losing client trust over "missing leads," freelancers firefighting at 11pm because a client's enquiry form had been broken for two weeks, business owners wondering why their marketing suddenly stopped working when in reality it hadn't.

The gap we fill

Every uptime monitor checks whether your site loads. None of them check whether your forms actually work.

FormDoctor fills that gap. It submits your forms the way a real visitor would — using a headless browser, filling in every field, hitting send, and then watching the entire chain to make sure the email actually lands where it's meant to. Server response. Email delivery. The lot. When something breaks, you know within minutes, with a screenshot and a clear explanation — not a vague "something's wrong" alert.

We're not an uptime monitor. We're not a plugin. We're a purpose-built safety net for the single most important conversion point on your website.

What we believe

Boring infrastructure matters most. The parts of the web that nobody wants to maintain are usually the parts that cost the most when they break. Forms are the best example — quietly essential, invisibly fragile.

Silent failure is the worst kind of failure. A loud error is annoying but fixable. A form that looks fine but isn't working is what loses you a client. Our whole product is built around making the silent audible.

Small tools, done properly. We'd rather do one thing genuinely well than ten things adequately. FormDoctor tests forms. That's it. We have no ambitions to become a "platform."

Who we are

FormDoctor is built by a small, UK-based team with roots in B2B SaaS, web development, and the sort of digital marketing work that depends entirely on forms not breaking. Between us, we've managed agency client sites, run marketing operations for growing software companies, and spent far too many evenings debugging why a contact form stopped sending email after a routine WordPress update.

We started FormDoctor because we kept hitting the same problem ourselves, and the tools that should have caught it didn't exist. So we built the one we wished we'd had.

We're deliberately small. We answer our own support emails. We ship updates when they're ready, not when a roadmap says so. And we're more interested in keeping a small number of customers genuinely happy than in chasing growth for its own sake.
